Real-life scares for cast of Malaysian horror movie

HORROR films like The Blair Witch Project and The Exorcist were not just famous for scaring audiences but also notorious for supernatural incidents that took place on the sets.

Teddy Chin, 29, and Mindee Ong, 33 - the two leads in Malaysian horror movie The Transcend, which opened yesterday - also experienced a few scares of their own during the shoot.

While cast and crew fortunately survived the experience unscathed, Ong admits that they were largely superstitious about the whole affair. For example, they lost entire chunks of footage - not once, but twice.
