So you're too busy to get to a restaurant and the restaurant can't get to you. Meet halfway at OUE Downtown Gallery, and pick up your designer meal from a designated "vault" as part of an ambitious hi-tech venture dreamed up by Makansutra founder KF Seetoh and the bosses of OUE Limited.
Vending machine? Think a couple of notches up. "We researched all vending technologies, but given dining trends and tight labour, we picked this (first in Asia) auto digital concept that offers heritage and progressive street food on the menu," says Mr Seetoh.
