THE two most decorated teams in English football collide this weekend in a blockbuster match that could go a long way to determining where this season's Premier League trophy will end up come May.

With a total of 39 league championships between them, Manchester United and Liverpool will write the next chapter of their bitter rivalry at Anfield on Sunday night (Monday 12.30am kick-off, Singapore time).

The last time they played each other 13 months ago, Liverpool were triumphant and opened up a 30-point gap between the two sides.
