RETIREMENT IS A BIG milestone in any career person's life. Some people mark it with a new car, expensive watch or taking off on a leisurely round-the-world cruise. Either that or they play a lot of golf and watch the stock market.
When senior IT veteran Koh Sim Hock retired a few years ago, he did nothing of the sort. Instead, he decided to completely rebuild his ageing corner terrace, located near Serangoon Gardens.
Creative director Dennis Cheok, of design firm UPSTAIRS_, was given the task of crafting a brand-new home for the family of seven.
