Returning to bare heart and soul once again
ANY child of the 1990s would have grown up with or discovered a Dashboard Confessional song that "spoke" to them.
Fronted by Chris Carrabba who is also the band's songwriting creative force, its angst-ridden and heartfelt punk-pop anthems like Hands Down and Vindicated gave birth to and defined the emo genre, turning it into one of the biggest alternative bands at the turn of the millennium.
Dashboard Confessional is set to play its first Singapore show as a group next week after Carrabba last performed solo here in 2012. The current line-up includes co-founding member Scott Schoenbeck on bass, and new additions Arnon Jay on guitar and Ben Homola on drums.
