Rousing French homage
WITH a title like A French Kiss in Singapore, you can't be blamed for expecting a night of melodrama capped with a thick layer of cheese.
But, surprise - SingTheatre's latest musical revue takes you on a roller-coaster ride of emotional highs and lows, set to iconic French tunes that will have you humming along even after the show is over.
The line-up features music by four iconic French musicians - Charles Aznavour, Charles Trenet, Serge Gainsbourg, and Jacques Brel, performed by three local theatre veterans George Chan, Hossan Leong, and Robin Goh, as well as fresh-faced Australian actor Linden Furnell.
