Up-and-coming electronic music artist Jasmine Sokko has dropped a surprise EP of covers on her Soundcloud page in the lead-up to her third single. Songs I Would Love To Call Mine features four tracks - LANY's ILYSB, Maggie Rogers' Alaska, Britney Spears' Toxic and Shura's Touch - that (you guessed it) Sokko loves and often sings in her concerts.
She admits the recordings were all done as demos "for fun" initially and were never meant to be heard publicly. "It's a bit of a mess.Since they are not mixed or mastered, I tried to doctor the MP3s into a more listenable state. Hope you have as much fun listening to these songs as much I did covering them."
