Saving the last of our dragon kilns
SINGAPORE'S ceramic artists are determined not to let the island's last two remaining dragon kilns fade away as they rally together to support the second Awaken the Dragon festival later this month.
They have even turned to crowdfunding to raise S$8,000 to support the festival's programmes which include workshops, a large outdoor concert and food bazaar from Nov 22-23.
The public can get a good idea of what the festival is all about through the video the organisers have made in the crowdfunding site, avvio.me.
