Savour Saigon
Jaime Ee
Go deep into Vietnamese cuisine beyond pho and banh mi at The Reverie Saigon, which has teamed up with the tour company Hidden Saigon to take guests on a culinary journey of Ho Chi Minh city - from street stalls to markets, family-run restaurants to fine dining eateries. More than just an eating tour, it's a first-hand look at the evolution of the country's cuisine landscape, through the eyes of Linh Phan, a Vietnamese-Canadian creative producer. A typical morning tour begins with a street-style shrimp and crab noodle soup, washed down with specialty brew margarita coffee which combines the cocktail components of lime, sugar and salt with cold brew Arabica coffee. Then you're off to explore the markets and traditional restaurants before ending with dinner at Vietnam House, by AustralianVietnamese celebrity chef, Luke Nguyen.
Hidden Taste of Saigon is an optional food tour offered by The Reverie Saigon. Visit: www.thereveriesaigon.com/offer/a-taste-of-hidden-saigon-food-tour/
