SERGIO Garcia was in Singapore when he hit a three-wood second shot on a 480-metre par-five from near a row of trees, and then ran up a steep slope to check on his ball.
That was way back in 2002 at the Tanah Merah Skins event where he played against Vijay Singh, Retief Goosen and Padraig Harrington at the old Garden course that had won several worldwide accolades.
