Shortchanged by an A-list cast

A PRETTY gypsy woman (Moran Atias) walks into a neighbourhood bar in Rome and strikes up a conversation with an American businessman (Adrien Brody) of questionable morals. When she mysteriously loses a large sum of money from her bag, he agrees to stump up the cash to pay for someone to smuggle her young daughter into the country. Things don't go according to plan.

In Paris, a prize-winning author (Liam Neeson) is holed up in a swanky hotel suite and putting the finishing touches to his latest book. He's going through a difficult separation from his wife (Kim Basinger) but has an even more volatile relationship with his mistress (Olivia Wilde), a gossip magazine writer who checks into a separate room and, between bouts of rough role- playing sex, urges him to read the draft of a book she's working on.

In New York, a former TV actress (Mila Kunis) with psychological issues is accused of trying to hurt her young son. She battles her former husband (James Franco) - a successful artist - for improved visitation rights. Emotionally unstable and reduced to working as a hotel maid, she keeps missing important appointments with her lawyer (Maria Bello), who grows ever more frustrated.
