Simply Extraordinary
MB&F's stunning pieces are so sought-after even the bad guys wanted a piece of the action
Dylan Tan
We sometimes loath calling MB&F, short for Maximilian Busser and Friends, a luxury timepiece brand because it's really more than just that.
More accurately, it is a laboratory of mad ideas where Busser and his like-minded buddies band together join forces to put together breathtaking pieces that make the collective jaws of watch-collectors drop.
Many do not even look like timepieces for that matter: the Octopod is an eight-leg, eight-day clock that looks like it crawled out of James Cameron's horror classic The Abyss; the Horological Machine No.7 looks like a jellyfish masquerading as a flying tourbillon; the Legacy Machine No.1's dial architecture resembles that of a space station (or is our imagination running wild)... well, you get the drift.
