Singaporean chefs make low-key fine-dining debut at Inicio

The Thye Hong Centre restaurant serves generic mod-European food that could use a stronger sense of personality and direction

    Restaurant Inicio 2 Leng Kee Road # 01-06 Singapore 159086 Tel: 8031-0141 Open for lunch and dinner Mon to Sat: 12 pm to 2.30 pm; 6 pm to 10.30 pm. 

    THE past few times we drove down Leng Kee, it was depressingly clear that it was not because we just bought a car. It has been mostly to poke around this ex-biscuit factory building which houses several restaurants, one of them being a revolving door of sorts for would-be fine-dining concepts.
