    AZERBAIJAN has a history that harks all the way back to ancient times, but this year, it will share something in common with a relatively young nation like Singapore.

    The country which kisses the Caspian Sea joins the exclusive F1 club next year with a race in Baku, and like Singapore, will have a street circuit conceived by renowned track designer Hermann Tilke.
