Cigarettes After Sex released their debut EP five years ago but nobody had heard of them until strong word-of-mouth online late last year turned them into indie darlings.

Since then, the quartet has sold out shows around the world, including KL, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Taipei last month. They will come to Singapore this year to play Capitol Theatre on August 17.

The group sounds every bit as sexy as its name, thanks to the alluring and hypnotic quality of frontman Greg Gonzalez's androgynous falsetto.
