Sonic experiment

Local indie group The Observatory's annual musical initiative Playfreely is back before 2017 bows out. Titled "No Man's Land", the fifth edition will once again feature an eclectic bunch of musicians from all corners of the world - including Vivian Wang and Cheryl Koh from the band - improvising on stage across two nights.
In addition to performing at this year's Playfreely, Canadian sound artist Crys Cole (pictured) will be presenting a workshop and talk. Participants are invited to bring along "an object with sonic possibilities" if they are attending.
Playfreely takes place at The Projector on Dec 13 and 14 at 7.30pm. Tickets at S$25 (free seating) available from theprojector.sg. Crys Cole workshop and Talk will be held at Black Axis at Goodman Arts Centre (Blk L, #01-48, 90 Goodman Road) on Dec 9 from 2-5pm. Pay what you want but register in advance at www.goo.gl/XVv93y.
