The annual all-Singapore laughfest Happy Ever Laughter returns with the city's best known stand-up comedians pitted against each other on the mike. They include Kumar, Selena Tan, Sebastian Tan, Suhaimi Yusof, Judee Tan, Alaric Tay, Rishi Budhrani and Sharul Channa. Expect a non-stop train of jokes and gags on all things Singaporean, from the country's search for a new Prime Minister to retirement in Johor Baru.
This year's show also makes it a point to cross generations: Veteran sitcom actresses Koh Chieng Mun and Irene Ang, the much-beloved mums from 1990s sitcoms Under One Roof and Phua Chu Kang respectively, are gamely taking their spots - as are young millennial stars Fakkah Fuzz and Preetipls.
