Stars on show
Kit Chan, A-Do, Nathan Hartono, Derrick Hoh and Gentle Bones are among the star attractions at this year's Sing.Lang free concert presented by the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC). The annual showcase highlights Singapore's connection to the larger Chinese music world, as the stars belt out familiar radio hits and classics.
Besides the five, there are also emerging artistes such as The Freshman, Boon Hui Lu, TheLionCityBoy and Akeem Jahat who help chart the evolution of local music over the decades.
Last year's concert at the SCCC drew a huge crowd, prompting the organisers to move the concert to the much-bigger Singapore Sports Hub. Admission is free, but you have to register first on the SCCC website.
