Stereophonics: Playing to a musically fluid tune
The band, due in Singapore for a concert next month, draws its influences from different genres of music.

STEREOPHONICS do not want to be "one type of band" - they like to keep their sound fresh with different, sometimes surprising, techniques, declared the band's bassist and original member Richard Jones.
In an interview with The Business Times ahead of the band's May 8 concert in Singapore, the 43-year-old said: "We never really wanted to be one type of band, or be pigeonholed. We want to show people that we can do lots of different types of music."
He then added, half in jest: "Who knows what is going to come in the next 10 years? Our next album might be a country album, or an electronic album."
