[SINGAPORE] Spring, a season of budding flowers, leaves and birdsong, also sees luxury brands unveiling fresh new looks in their jewellery repertoires. If you’re looking to spruce up your own collection, these new arrivals offer plenty of inspiration.

At Van Cleef & Arpels, five creations in yellow gold are the latest to join its Lucky Spring collection – previously only available in rose gold. In addition to the ladybug, plum blossoms and lily-of-the-valley buds, we now have a new creature – a butterfly in blue agate and lapis lazuli.

The winged insect appears in a side profile or with its wings fully open, fluttering on a long necklace, a five-motif bracelet, a clip and a between-the-finger ring. A pair of plum blossom earrings then round up the selection. Joining the butterfly’s vivid blues are leaves of vibrant green agate and flowers of iridescent white mother-of-pearl – a truly happy combi.

Meanwhile, Louis Vuitton celebrates the 130th anniversary of its iconic Monogram canvas by extending its Color Blossom line with 28 new jewels.

Launched in 2015, the collection is known for its coloured stones carved and polished into glossy, bombe shapes – bulbous, rounded forms. Here, the Monogram’s iconic flower motifs are mounted against a star or round-shaped precious metal to represent star and sun emblems, respectively.

Among the highlights is the introduction of a new stone – the navy-blue sodalite, which has subtle inclusions and a glassy lustre. There are also new pave creations, as well as necklaces, sautoirs, bracelets, rings and earrings in new designs. These include an expansion of its design in popular pink mother-of-pearl, which now welcomes a sautoir, two bracelets and two minimalist pendants.

Bvlgari, on the other hand, is tempting fans of its signature B.zero1 collection with nine new creations. There is an exciting new bangle bracelet, which integrates B.zero1’s distinctive architectural motif as a central decorative element to a Tubogas coil – another one of its signature designs.

Rounding up the new entrants, all of which are available in white, yellow and rose gold, are a demi-pave pendant and hoop earrings.

These are in addition to the Italian jeweller turning its attention to a humbler material – stainless steel. It has introduced two rings – a four and two-band version – to the B.zero1 collection, crafting them in steel, framed by yellow-gold outer edges.

Its Tubogas line also welcomes a necklace and bracelet where flexible, seamless coils are made in steel with yellow gold studs punctuating the surface.

Meanwhile, French jeweller Fred has refined the aesthetics of its Force 10 rings to present purer forms in yellow, white or pink gold.

Marking the 60th anniversary of the collection, the latest creations subtly reinterpret the signature buckle design with sharper angles and more defined curves, with some of the pieces enhanced with semi-pave diamonds to add that bit of sparkle.
