Driving Partner
Now when former F1 champion driver Kimi Räikkönen gets into his car, he takes a co-driver with him - the RM 50-04 Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph watch designed specially for him by luxury watchmaker Richard Mille. The million-dollar (or more) baby is a fiercely technical piece of work that looks like a fun, bright red and breezy timepiece on the outside, but is fitted with a "split-seconds chronograph tourbillon and a grade-5 titanium and Carbon TPT® movement" within that weighs just 7 grams. The titanium dial also features his name and racing number 7. This limited edition of just 30 pieces had its worldwide launch in Singapore last week just in time for the Formula 1 race, when Räikkönen was in town to take part with his Alfa Romeo racing team.
