That scenario is no longer a fantasy with two devices, Google Home and Google Home Mini, launched in Singapore last month. Just saying.
Essentially voice-activated speakers powered by Google Assistant - the tech giant's artificial intelligence-powered virtual assistant software works like iPhone's Siri - both devices offer functions that are also similar to other smart speakers like the Apple HomePod and Amazon Echo.
