Plein Styling
German designer Philipp Plein is no minimalist when it comes to fashion design, building his career on vintage jackets adorned with Swarovski skulls. He was studying law when he started making bags and accessories from exotic leather, branching out into fashion inspired by icons in pop culture from Michael Jackson to Scarface. Fans of his edgy, uninhibited and extravagant style can now indulge in the designer's wild fashion universe at his very first flagship store in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Expect a 4,000 sq ft duplex space that features its Spring/Summer collection that pays tribute to Michael Jackson's sartorial style. Also in the new store will be selected styles from its Autumn/Winter collection, which showcases Plein's unique fusion of street and formal wear.
