Luxury watch companies are in a hurry to unveil new timepieces as the world economy starts to get back on track.

    WITH major watch fairs postponed and a world crushed by coronavirus-induced lockdowns in the first half of this year, luxury watchmakers announced then that they would put off the launch of any new models until next year. But, since then, many have changed their tune as the world economy starts to reopen, with big names like Patek Philippe rushing to roll out new timepieces. Here's a sneak peek at what to look out for.

    Patek Philippe's complication timepieces are so close to perfection that it's tough even for this highly respected watchmaker to produce better follow-up models. Putting some of these complications together, no easy feat in itself, and rolling them out as grand complications is one way to keep the insatiable demand for new Patek Philippe creations at bay.
