WITH major watch fairs postponed and a world crushed by coronavirus-induced lockdowns in the first half of this year, luxury watchmakers announced then that they would put off the launch of any new models until next year. But, since then, many have changed their tune as the world economy starts to reopen, with big names like Patek Philippe rushing to roll out new timepieces.
