Shop For A Good Cause
Do good while you shop at Pasar Glamour, the annual pop-up event that sells pre-loved quality clothing and accessories to encourage sustainable fashion consumption and support charities in Singapore. Local actresses Pam Oei, Janice Koh and Petrina Kow dreamed up the idea in a kitchen conversation - now it's back for its third instalment. This year, a record number of Singapore design names such as Max Tan, STOLEN, Ong Shunmugam and Carrie K have donated sample pieces or clearance stocks for sale at affordable prices. Proceeds will go to beneficiaries including Aidha, a charity which teaches financial literacy and confidence skills to foreign domestic workers and lowerincome Singaporean women; AWARE's Sexual Assault Care Centre; ARC Childrens' Centre; Playeum's Giving Tuesday and Wild Rice's Gift of Theatre Programme.
Pasar Glamour is on from Sep 27 to 29, at National Design Centre, 111 Middle Road, Level 2.
