Sinn-Fully Retro
The Hour Glass's 40th anniversary celebration continues with another limited edition watch to mark the occasion. This time it's Sinn giving one of its classic models - the 356 Pilot - a makeover. The timepiece is a streamlined version of the 256 that was originally conceived for the Japanese market - hence the smaller-than-usual 38.5mm case, which is highly unusual for the pilot's chronograph in this day and age. The retro vibe on this commemorative edition is completed by the watch's acrylic crystal, a scratched up olive-brown dial for vintage effect and a textured suede calf strap that makes it look aged. Founded in 1961 with its core business in manufacturing navigation clocks and pilot chronographs, Sinn has gained a cult following with its affordably priced tool watches.
The Sinn 356 Pilot The Hour Glass Commemorative Edition retails for S$3,580.
