Small wonder

ACTION cameras are some of the most versatile video cameras in the market. Their compact size, usually as small as a plum, means they can be attached almost anywhere, from the top of a motorcycle helmet, the handle bar of a bicycle, the strap on a backpack, or even on the bodies of adrenaline junkies such as skydivers, skiers and divers.

The point-of-view footage taken offers a unique view of any activity, and the most well known company behind action cameras is GoPro. But while GoPro is known for supplying equipment used in extreme-action videography, it is also known for its high prices of over S$300 for a basic set-up. Throw in the need for waterproof casing, microSD cards and other accessories, and it adds up.

The same also goes for action cameras by many other companies, which is what makes the ViDi action camera such a draw.
