SunMoon still shining bright
But Team Emerio is catching up, and they have put in an impressive performance with the second-highest score during the fifth round.

After round five of the 2014 Business Times Corporate Golf League, which was held on Singapore Island Country Club's New Course last Wednesday, Team SunMoon is still leading the pack but have had their lead cut to nine points. Team Emerio continue to put in an impressive performance with the second-highest score during the fifth round - 109 - to maintain their tied second position. The Crane Boomers are in fourth spot with 409, Bank of Singapore (OCBC) are in fifth with 400, and Team Zyfas and Team DBS Vickers both scored 399. Team Citi rounds out the top eight with 397, and these eight teams will compete in the Open Category. Those teams from 9th to 16th position on the table will compete in Category A. Team Zyfas scored its first triple figure score of this year's league to record the highest of the fifth round - 110.
Says team captain Adrian Chew: "Being first timers in the league, we were aiming just to be in the top 10. It has taken us a while to settle down and slowly we have moved up the ladder. We're ecstatic!"
Joining Mr Chew on the fairways at SICC were team members Michael Sng, Chua Lian Ho and Au Sen Min. He adds: "We are now tied sixth, and while SunMoon are safe in first spot, we are looking to go out with a bang and looking forward to doing well on the Serapong course in the final round."
