Sure, you may look bad at the start in comparison, but research has found that the shine of high-flyers could potentially rub off on teammates in the long run when they collaborate.
In a new paper entitled "Where Do Stars Come From? The Role Of Star Vs Non-Star Collaborators In Creative Settings" published in the Organization Science journal, Insead associate professor of technology and operations management Manuel Sosa and his co-authors found that employees who work alongside superstars significantly increase their odds of becoming stars themselves.
