SUTD names largest lecture theatre after pioneering architect
Move recognises Albert Hong's S$30m donation to the university

THE Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) on Tuesday named its largest lecture theatre after pioneering Singaporean architect Albert Hong.
SUTD said the naming honours Mr Hong's S$30 million donation to the university, pledged in 2013 as part of SUTD's fundraising campaign to commemorate Singapore's late founding prime minister Lee Kuan Yew's 90th birthday that year.
