Whether-- or not you celebrate Deepavali, Chef Manjunath Mural's handcrafted mithai and festive menus are good reasons to visit the one-Michelin-starred restaurant The Song Of India.

This year's mithai selection includes a gula melaka and feuillantine with melon seeds, pink guava and pistachio, as well as a charcoal coconut.

Existing signature flavours include the Rose Gulkhand Roll with rose petals in cashew rolls. The mithai are part of a special degustation menu (S$79++) available from Oct 18 to 22 that also includes Manglorian Gassi (tiger prawns cooked in coconut gassi sauce) and Kashmiri Nadru (young lotus root cooked in a coriander and mint cashew sauce).
