The music's back
FOR performing artistes who did live gigs at bars and restaurants, the music died over the past two years of Covid curbs.
Many musicians sought out other jobs, some sold their instruments and left the trade altogether, along with the shuttered bars and night spots.
A ray of light has now beamed, with the recent easing of restrictions. But, as Brunch in The Business Times Weekend finds, while they cheer and celebrate the reopening, many live musicians remain just cautiously optimistic.
