The NFT phenomenon is here to stay

NEXT week, Singapore hosts its first major exhibition of NFTs, with the works of Beeple, Refik Anadol and Tyler Hobbs set to go on display at fine art storage space Le Freeport. While still unfamiliar names to traditional art collectors, this exhibition is set to bring non-fungible tokens further into the mainstream, even as the genre itself gains widespread appeal even in non arts-related fields.

Tomorrow's BTLifestyle looks at the unprecedented explosion of NFT offerings in every conceivable form. Whether it's a property company launching a digital twin city, a martial arts studio producing NFTs of fighters or even an auction of charity NFTs, it looks like the phenomenon is here to stay.

Meanwhile, as Tokyo remains inaccessible to most travellers, fans of Japanese design and craft can visit an exhibition of lifestyle products created by industrial designers from the Japanese capital.

We also take a peek at the Red Dot awards, and the out-of-the-box ideas by designers from the rest of the world.

In Dining, we head to the Raffles Hotel to check out the breezy Italian fare served at the newly rebranded Osteria BBR by Alain Ducasse.
