IT'S been over a year, many starts and stops, but the curtains are finally going up on the latest productions by Singapore's top theatre companies. That means arts lovers are in for an activity-filled October, with at least 10 shows to look forward to - not just physically on stage, but virtually too.

In tomorrow's BTLifestyle, we speak to five theatre practitioners about the struggle to create art in a pandemic, and being able to finally bring their long-postponed productions to life, despite the pandemic pain of falling income and unemployment. Practitioners such as Janice Koh, Chong Tze Chien, Adib Kosnan talk about working in isolation, pivoting to new platforms whether digital or film, and most of all, the joy of the creative process despite all the obstacles.

Elsewhere in Arts, we find out what's in store for the upcoming Singapore Writers Fest. In Design, we take a peek at a home designed for kids, and learn that it is not child's play to build a home for a multi-generational family. And in Dining, we head to the latest dining hotspot Revolver, with its modern take on Indian cuisine.
