Whether you can barely do a down dog or if you're doing headstands with ease, there's nothing like escaping the city to say 'Om' in Bhutan - the land of mysticism, Zen and chilli cheese stew.

From Aug 12 to 18, check into Como Uma Bhutan for its annual yoga retreat. Apart from daily yoga sessions against magnificent mountainous backdrops, you'll also enjoy privately guided excursions through the Paro, Thimphu and Punakha valleys, including a trip to Taktsang, the famous Tiger's Nest Monastery and the riverside Punakha Dzong. There will also be a chance to go foraging for Matsutake mushrooms.

The workshop is priced from US$4,480 per person for a three-night stay in a twin-sharing Valley View Room at COMO Uma Paro and three-night twin-sharing Valley View Room at COMO Uma Punakha.
