Playing With Light
Fans of international art collective teamLab who have been to their two exhibitions in Tokyo can see more of their work in Singapore. Jointly presented by Gardens by the Bay and global investment firm GIC, #futuretogether, the finale event of the Singapore Bicentennial features seven digital art installations by teamLab, spread across indoor and outdoor spaces. An outdoor exhibit not to be missed is Autonomous Resonating Life on the Water and Resonating Trees at the Dragonfly Lake. It comprises 300 oval sculptures which light up the lake. When a sculpture is pushed, its light changes colour and it emits a sound. At the Reversible Rotation - Black in White installation, visitors feel as if they are part of a calligraphy artwork, as brush strokes surround them.
#futuretogether is on till March 15, at Bayfront Plaza, Gardens by the Bay. See gardensbythebay. com.sg/futuretogether for more details.
