EVER felt like quitting your job to travel on a quest of self-discovery? You’re not alone.

Research has shown that more working professionals are getting burnt out for many reasons, from overwork to economic uncertainty and a general malaise over a constant stream of bad news around the world. Even those who have eschewed holidays in favour of climbing the corporate ladder are rethinking their lives and booking trips where they can get exposure to different lifestyles and cultures.

As travellers venture out of their comfort zone to find meaning – and themselves – hotels, cruise companies and other industry players are also shaping their offerings to cater to the growing demand for transformative travel. As one clinical psychologist put it: “Post-Covid, people are questioning what’s important to them and reviewing their priorities to meet these needs.”

Meanwhile, in Health, find out how to reduce your risks of breast cancer and the latest advances in treatment, as well as a new screening test that identifies how well a patient’s tumour responds to cancer drugs, which can help identify effective treatments for the best response.
