Truffle experience dinner for BT subscribers
The four-course menu will feature the highly prized French Périgord Black Winter Truffles harvested in Western Australia
If you are a Business Times (BT) subscriber and truffle lover, then you are in for a delicious treat.
BT, together with premium foodstuff importer Trearth and Edition Rooftop Bar, will be presenting a four-course dinner centred around the highly-prized fungi on June 1.
15 BT subscribers stand to snag a pair of seats (worth S$296++) each to this dining experience.
The menu is specially curated by Edition’s Chef Steven Loo using only French Périgord Black Winter Truffles from Stonebarn, a 2,000-plus tree truffiere and luxury lodge located in the heart of truffle country in Manjimup, Western Australia.
Harvested throughout the Down Under winter months of June through August using trained dogs, French Périgord Black Winter Truffles are highly sought after and often considered the finest among all black truffle varieties.
The truffle hunts, led by the dogs, take place once a week in the morning for the duration of the season.

The dinner will begin with truffle croquettes with char broccoli and truffle aioli as appetiser, followed by a butternut pumpkin with black truffle crumbs soup.
There will be an option of either truffle wild mushroom ragu fettuccine or Angus beef tenderlion with foie gras, truffle mash, beef jus as the main course.
To round off the meal, a dessert of osmanthus glaze apricot glazed with truffle honey and vanilla bean gelato will be served.
Not only that, there will also be a lucky draw and attendees stand the chance to take home prizes sponsored by Trearth and Edition Rooftop Bar and Restaurant.
