Now that sakura fever has died down, it is time to welcome the next seasonal blooms at Gardens by the Bay - colourful tulips specially flown in from the Netherlands.
Set in an idyllic pastoral landscape, the Tulipmania floral display in Flower Dome draws inspiration from the Dutch countryside and showcases the agricultural roots of the Netherlands. As visitors stroll through the tulip field dotted with thatched-roof farmhouses and adorable cattle and chicken sculptures, they can discover the different stages of growth in a tulip's life cycle and step into a windmill to take a closer look at its clockwork mechanism within.
Over 35 varieties of tulips will be on display including the vibrant red and white Tulipa 'Singapura' which commemorates Singapore's Bicentennial, and the brilliant golden 'Yellow Flight'.
