QUEEN Camilla, wife of the Britain’s King Charles, has been forced to pull out of her planned engagements this week after suffering a chest infection, Buckingham Palace said on Tuesday (Nov 5).

Camilla, 77, is resting at home while she recovers but no further details of her illness have been given, as is usual with royal medical issues.

“Her Majesty The Queen is currently unwell with a chest infection, for which her doctors have advised a short period of rest,” a palace spokesperson said.

“With great regret, Her Majesty has therefore had to withdraw from her engagements for this week, but she very much hopes to be recovered in time to attend this weekend’s Remembrance events as normal.” REUTERS
