Upcycling 1980s vinyl curios
A music outreach programme which involves re-imagining vinyl records as art collectibles.

WHEN creative director Little Ong was given over 200 vinyl records by a friend, he wondered what to do with them.
"A friend was clearing them out, and he gave them to me," says Mr Ong, who is also the founder of multidisciplinary creative agency fFurious. The records are all tea dance singles from the 1980s, which Mr Ong had little interest in. He tried giving them away but "no one wanted them either".
But rather than trash them, he thought about putting them to good use, and in the process, created a music outreach programme.
