US job satisfaction is up, but still far off previous peaks
Uptick is result of a labour market in recovery mode for years: survey

WITH Labor Day weekend just over, a little good news: For the first time in more than a decade, the majority of US workers are satisfied with their jobs.
According to new data from the Conference Board,the research group, job satisfaction climbed for the sixth year in a row, reaching 50.8 per cent, up from 49.6 per cent last year and above the 50 per cent threshold for the first time since 2005.
