THE Women's Tennis Association (WTA) is looking for a permanent home to stage its prestigious season-ending championships, said the Florida-based organisation's chief executive officer Steve Simon on Wednesday.

The tournament has been held in nine different cities since the first edition in 1972. Singapore has a five-year deal to host the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global until 2018, with the third edition being played this week at the Indoor Stadium in Kallang.
