Charm of the chimes

HUBLOT'S Big Bang Alarm Repeater chimes the programmed alarm time. This alarm time is set with the crown and is indicated by the counter located between the 4 o'clock and 5 o'clock position.

The hammer that strikes the gong to sound the alarm can be seen on the dial side. The alarm duration is around 16 seconds. The second time zone display is yet another feature and its 24-hour counter is located at 11 o'clock.

This is where home time, the time zone where one originated from, is set while local time, the time zone where one is at, is on the larger off-centred dial.
