Girard Perregaux returns to its roots

Published Thu, Aug 27, 2015 · 09:50 PM

GIRARD Perregaux is another Kering-acquired brand that's been left pretty much to do its own thing. And this also means to reproduce its classic models with a contemporary look.

The most classic GP creation, one that's defined the brand's identity, is the Tourbillon with Three Bridges.

It was presented in 1889 at the Universal Exhibition in Paris and went on to win a gold medal. Since then, the timepiece has imposed its minimalist architecture on watchmaking.
