Honeygold

THIS gold alloy that gives a warm glow is harder than any gold alloys - thanks to mineral additives and a special heat treatment. The 18-carat alloy is composed of 75 per cent fine-gold. A mix of copper and zinc gives it a fascinating hue that lies between pink and white gold.

Exclusive to A Lange & Sohne, Honeygold has, since it's launch 11 years ago, graced 12 Lange limited edition models - including the Zeitwerk Honeygold "Lumen" (limited 200), the latest to be presented in this patented material.

The first Honeygold models were the Tourbograph "Pour le Merite" (limited 50), the Lange 1 Tourbillon (limited 150) and the 1815 Moon Phase (limited 265). They were unveiled in 2010 as a "165 Years - Homage to FA Lange" collection in tribute to Lange's founder Ferdinand Adolph Lange on the brand's 165th anniversary.
