IWC Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar

The Big Pilot is the most recognisable of IWC Schaffhausen's timepieces - and no other complication has taken centre stage on its large dial as often as the perpetual calendar. The perpetual calendar is synonymous with Kurt Klaus who developed it for the brand in the 1980s.

A highly complex mechanism that automatically adjusts for different month lengths and leap years, the perpetual calendar first appeared on a Big Pilot's watch in 2006. Since then, no less than 37 versions of the Big Pilot with a perpetual calendar have been rolled out.
