This new quartet – the Villeret Extraplate, Quantieme Complet, Quantieme Phases de Lune, and Tourbillon Carrousel – debuts a sunburst green dial inspired by the lush fir trees of Vallee de Joux surrounding Blancpain’s Manufacture in the Swiss village of Le Brassus.
Each model here showcases the collection’s pure design language, while the striking green dial injects a fresh and modern aesthetic. Paired with red gold cases, the contrast creates a visually striking effect that showcases Blancpain’s mastery of understated luxury.
Villeret Extraplate The Villeret Extraplate is the epitome of understated elegance. Displaying only the essentials – the hours, minutes, seconds, and a subtle date window – this timepiece embodies the Villeret collection’s signature minimalism. But beneath the serene green dial lies technical mastery. Powered by the ultra-thin Calibre 1151, the watch boasts a mere 8.7 mm slimness within its 40 mm case. Thanks to twin series-coupled barrels, its substantial 100-hour power reserve proves that simplicity can be profoundly sophisticated.
Villeret Quantieme Phases de Lune Blancpain’s moonphase complication has become an emblem of the manufacture’s dedication to mechanical beauty, and the Villeret Quantieme Phases de Lune is a poetic tribute to this legacy. Equipped with the 913QL.P self-winding movement, the model features Blancpain’s distinctive feminine moon – with closed eyelids and a dainty beauty mark – that enlivens the precise lunar display. The watch takes on a new guise in 2024. Housed in a commanding 44.6 mm red gold case, it reveals its mechanical complexity through a dial in understated green that balances elegance with technical depth beautifully.
