Master of ultra-thin timepieces
PIAGET proves once again that it's the master of ultra-thin timepieces.
After breaking Jaeger-LeCoultre's record for the world's thinnest hand-wound watch last year with the Altiplano 900P, Piaget presented yet another ultra-thin creation in 2015: the Altiplano Chronograph, the first complication in the Altiplano collection.
With a 4.65mm thick hand-wound calibre and a 8.24 thick case, Piaget says, the Altiplano Chronograph, which comes in a 41mm white or pink gold case, is the world's thinnest chronograph with the thinnest flyback chronograph movement. And it carries an attractive price tag - S$41,700, not much higher than that of the Altiplano 900P.
