SAM is M.I.A. - and better

EVER seen a museum go missing? It's no magic act, but that's what's happened to the Singapore Art Museum (SAM), which has physically vanished but is popping up in different guises in surprising places.

With the renovations of its Bras Basah premises on hold - it was set to reopen this year but that's now delayed for another five years because of the pandemic - SAM has gone M.I.A. or "Museum In Action". Under this campaign, it scatters itself in several places and then pops up in a large temporary warehouse space in Tanjong Pagar Distripark (TPD), and in libraries and tourist attractions. In tomorrow's BTLifestyle, we track down the ways that SAM has split itself. For museum fans, we're happy to report that it's even better than what it used to be.

We also visit a house that stands out in its neighbourhood, and no wonder, because its owners have spared no expense to create a home that really makes its presence felt.

And speaking of expense, we check out some new complication watches that you'll want to save up for. And in Dining, as restaurants scramble to get their kitchens in order for dining in, we spotlight some new and niche F&B concepts to look out for.
